Ray Charles was so impressed by Magic that he hired him to play guitar and co-produce “God Bless America Again”. He also recorded for the movie soundtrack “Ray”. Magic was the "core guitar player” on Ray’s triple-platinum album and multi-Grammy award-winning “Genius Loves Company,” with the lovely Norah Jones.
